Q: So how much does it cost?
That's a tough question to answer. Generally we start our websites at $600.00 and go up from there depending on your requirements and needs.

If you add flash navigation, header, or intro to your website, you can expect to pay $200.00 more. Search engine optimization runs about $250.00 depending on the size of the site. Then any special programming or application work you need done as well will figure into the over all cost.

For the average website, its safe to assume $600-$1000 for the complete design and development.

Q: Why are your hosting prices so high?
Most hosting companies simply give you space to put your website files. They don't actually set everything up for you - and often require a certain amount of knowledge to get things connected and functioning properly.

Also, with our plans, we include updates and monthly site maintenance - meaning if you ever need anything changed, edited, added, removed, etc ... just let us know, and its normally done within 24 hours depending on our schedule and work load.

Without the plan, you would be paying $30-$40 per hour for these updates - so you can see that plan basically pays for itself if you anticipate needing 10 hours of updates within a years time.

Q: Why do I need a web site for my business?
  • Get visibility - Future customers can find your company's products and services on the web.
  • Add credibility - A web site builds trust and gives customers the assurance that you have what it takes for them to do business with you.
  • Differentiate your offerings - Show potential customers that your products and services are different from your competitors' and easy to find on your web site.
  • Impress your customers - Share raving reviews from your customers. Use your web site to showcase your expertise and experience.
  • Grow your sales - Open up an additional channel for growth. Use your web site to aggressively market your products and services.
  • Redirect and minimize support calls - Your web site can answer many common questions for your customers. Customers can locate your store, generate a map and driving directions to your store, look up your contact information and receive a free quote. Your customers will feel empowered by finding answers to their questions more quickly and efficiently. This also helps reduce your customer support expenditures, improving your bottom line.
  • Inform your customers - Provide the educational materials that customers need to make purchase decisions, and provide them with the ability to bookmark your site. You know what they need to know - make sure they can easily find this information on your web site.
  • It pays for itself - Your web site pays for itself, often several times over. Your web site will sell your products, generate sales leads and save you significant money on customer support costs.
Q: Why do I need a professional to design my web site for me?
  • Make a great first impression - Your web site is your online face to your customers, many of whom will be visiting you for the first time. This may be your only chance to make a great first impression.
  • Stand out among the competition - Look unique and stand out from the crowd. Your custom designed web site will differentiate you from others who created their web sites with a template chosen from a template gallery.
  • Aim for quality - We know what’s effective and what’s not, and can design a higher quality web site than you could build by yourself.
  • Get access to the right tools - Creating your ideal web site can be technically challenging. Chances are, you do not have all the right tools. We have the tools and knowledge to create a web site that will stand out among your competitors and help you achieve your goals.
  • Save money - Since it takes us less time and effort than it would take you to design a web site, we can do it more affordably than you think.
  • Grow faster - We have the right resources readily available to take care of all your web design needs. We offer a complete variety of web design services, so we can add any additional functionality you may need as your company and your web site continue to grow.
Q: How can a website help me if I'm not selling any products?
History has seen the introduction of five mass communication mediums: the book, the newspaper, radio, television and the internet. The Internet is the first to offer any interactive capabilities.

A website provides the opportunity to inform potential clients of your product or service in greater depth than the other communication mediums.

Thus a well designed website can be the deciding factor in whether you get the business, or your competitor does. A website also allows you to interact with visitors and to receive valuable feedback.

Q: Can't I use a software program to build my own website?
If you have a background in computer programming, yes. Otherwise, you will probably wish you hadn't tried.

These programs are better suited to help experienced website designers speed up their workflow. The manual for one of the more popular website development software programs is over 1000 pages and the programs themselves cost hundreds of dollars. Lower priced programs offer more limited design capabilities.

Even though these programs write the necessary programming code for your web page, you will find that a knowledge of one or more programming languages is needed to make your website work. A knowledge of how to prepare graphics for the web is a must along with knowing the various do's and don'ts of the internet.

Q: Do I need to hire a "local" web developer?
We have a proven track record of creating web sites for clients who are local as well as all over the country from New York to California.

By using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible to communicate effectively with clients in any location.

Q: Is a website an effective use of advertising dollars?
Absolutely! The Internet has been referred to as the "great equalizer." It allows small to medium sized business to compete on the same turf as the Fortune 500 companies.

At a cost that is often less than that of printing an advertisement in a daily paper or magazine, you can erect a web site that fully informs potential clients of your product or service.

Unlike a printed advertisement, it doesn't get tossed out with the trash, and is always available.

Q: What if I already have a website or template?
Many of our clients either have a website already and want to give it a new look, or have purchased templates for us to tweak and modify to meet their needs.

The overall scope of the project will determine exact cost, but its definitely something we can assist you with, and welcome you to feel free to contact us anytime for a quote.

Q: How long does it take?
That's another tough question, and there really isn't a good, clear answer.

Normally we like to get the design/layout draft finished within a week, and then continue with development for a week after that, once the draft is approved.

This isn't always the case though, depending on our work load, schedule, and how quick the clients are to respond to any questions and feedback needed to continue moving forward.

We do get behind once in a while, and do our best to keep everything moving forward on a first come, first serve basis, and is ultimately decided based on the overall scope of your project.

Q: Who owns the rights to the work you've done?
Assuming you have made all the agreed payments in full, you own all the rights to the files. At anytime you can request for us to send them to you at no charge.

There are no fees or additional costs involved at all if you wish to discontinue our service and acquire all files we have pertaining to your projects.
