Policies & Terms

Payments
When considering the nature of the work we do here, and how easy it is to copy design graphics and web files,we prefer full payments made in advance before work begins on your project. We are always willing to work with you, and occasionally will come to an agreement for 1/2 up front, and the remaining balance when the project is complete.

For service payments we prefer that you use paypal, or any major credit/debit cards. This is the easiest, and most hassle free way to make payments for your convenience as well as ours. We also accept personal checks by mail, and in person cash transactions.  Returned Checks result in a fee of 10% of the check amount.

Late Fees
If payment arrangements have been made and put in writing, either on paper or email documents, a late fee of 10% of the amount due will be added for each week the payment is past the mutually agreed date unless otherwise noted.  All files will be held and work will not resume until all fees have been paid.

Refunds
A full refund will be given within 45 days of the initial transaction if we cannot complete the project to your satisfactory within a reasonable amount of time for performing the mutually agreed tasks - assuming the client has followed through with their responsibilities as outlined in the next section. A full refund will consist of all money that has been paid to us by cash, check or paypal - minus any loss, damages, or out of pocket expense that we have paid out in material, content, applications or special programming for your project.  No refund will be given for credit card payments under any circumstances.  Click here for more information.

Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for providing all information, text and special images for the project, and is responsible for addressing all questions and feedback on design drafts within a timely manner to keep the workflow moving in a positive direction. Information also includes details and a clear description of what you want out of the project.

Client Accountability
The client is accountable and will be responsible to pay all agreed fees if they choose to cancel or terminate the project without due cause, once the project has been started.

Refund Disputes and Credit Card Chargebacks
Absolutely under no circumstances will credit card chargeback disputes and refunds be granted.  We work hard for all of our clients, and occasionally fall a little behind schedule.  Chargebacks and disputes are meant for fraud, and to protect the buyer against scams.  They are NOT intended to get your money back for work we have done for you so you can walk away with a completed website for free.

If you insist on filing disputes and causing a large disruption in our daily business, we will charge you an additional $400.00 for our time and trouble if you lose the dispute.  We will freeze your files, and you will not get them back until that fee is paid.

Privacy
BD Productions respects the privacy of its users. We realize that concerns about privacy and the secure transfer and use of personal information have increased with the growth of online services. That's why we maintain a strict privacy policy.

When you visit our Website there are two kinds of information that we are likely to record:

• Non-personal statistical information.
  This is anonymous information on subjects such as: how many visitors come to our web site, how they navigate through the site, which browsers they use to visit the site, etc.
• Personal information that you knowingly supply to us.
  When you fill out our online forms, email us, or give us a call, we will collect personal information that will help us
  to identify you, authenticate you, and provide you better service in the future. This information is called "personally identifiable information" and is used to associate usage information with a specific individual or entity.
  Examples of personally identifiable information are: customer name, e-mail address, etc.

We do not sell or trade your information.
BD Productions will not sell or release identifiable visitor information to any third party without your permission and will limit disclosure of information to where we believe in good faith that it is required to do so in response to a subpoena or other legal process.

Right To Sub-Contract
BD Productions works closely with screen printing, offset printing, vinyl companies and other programmers / developers to offer you the best possible prices by eliminating the expenses of equipment and overhead needed to perform these tasks in house. We achieve discounted rates by providing these companies with higher volume, and are then able to offer lower prices to you as our client.

We reserve the right to outsource or sub-contract any work as we see fit to provide you with the best possible quality and turn around efficiency.
